Badboys Softball Club

 

Formed from the Rec D Team, SF Menace, the Badboys arrived for the 2005 season. There were lot's of highlights, and the team core continued to play ball. We won our very first tournament, Arizona Sagauro Cup 2005. We placed First in the lower C.  For the season, we placed 6th overall, and 3rd in our C Bracket.    We also played as the BadGirls for the first time at the Russian River Tournament, it was a lot of pink and glitter everywhere. We also camped, and partied and met guys like Matty Z. and Charles P. "Hell Lo".  We player in pink mostly cuz this tournament raises money for the AIDS Service Organizations there, and it was the least we could do.  Playing in pink is also fun cuz people think pink means you play like sissies.  Heck ya did we kick ass as "sissies". So underestimated.

2006 Led the Badboys a lot closer to the GSWS.  We placed 4th overall and 2nd in the playoffs to the Stealth.

2007 was a great year too, lots of tournaments and games.  We ended up a proud 5th place and 4th in the playoffs. We also took 3rd in the Rainbow Classic Tournament in Guerneville. It was the second time some of us placed there, we took 2nd to the Comets as the Menace in 2004.

2008 was set to be our best year yet.  Our manager Frankie, was determined to finally take the team to number, an elusive title that we have been hungry for, for years. We also met our new coach Koa, this year's 2008 Team looks to be one of the best teams we have had.

Here we are BadBoys.  We finally finished the season number one, 10-2 over the competition. Yes we tied to the Renegades and the Pups, but because we beat the Pups and the Renegades and us split, with out run differential being 2 higher, Badboys Win  21-9, Renegades win 21-11, we place one overall. They won the title game and took the B Promotion and the Division Standings Berth, but we had the best record in the end.  We did good my brothers on the Badboys, I am very proud of you all.  We can not stop now, we have the tournament for the final berth to win. Then our mission statement for 2008 will be complete.  We can do it.

2005 - 1st place Sagauro Cup, 3rd place in our C bracket.

2006 -  2nd place playoffs, 4th overall

2007 -  5th overall and 3rd at the Rainbow Classic           

2008 - 1st C California Division, #1 Seed Playoff Tournament, 1st in Standings overall, 10-2 over the C Division Champions, Renegades..........and still going.....
